Ken Bernard is the president and founder of Bernard Wealth Management. With nearly 20 years of experience as an investment advisor and portfolio manager, his primary responsibility is investment strategy, portfolio management, and research. He earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2003.

Ken received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Statistics from the University of Michigan in 1984 and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business in 1992.

He is involved in many community organizations, including Yad Ezra, a local food pantry, where he served as President from 2009-2010. He also volunteers with Beaumont Hospital’s animal assisted therapy program with his dog, Dexter.

Andy Niedermeier joined Bernard Wealth Management in August of 2019 as a Wealth Advisor. Andy serves as an advisor to clients and joins the investment research and portfolio management team. With more than 20 years in financial services, including the last twelve with Charles Schwab, Andy most recently worked as a Managing Director of Strategy, where he was responsible for developing the educational strategy for Financial Wellness. Prior to that, Andy worked on the corporate finance team providing financial planning and analysis support for multiple business units. Before Charles Schwab, Andy spent over eight years at The Bisys Group, Inc. in Columbus, Ohio serving on the financial reporting and mutual fund accounting teams. Andy’s areas of expertise include strategy, analytics, budgeting, and financial products. Andy enjoys using his background and experiences to help clients achieve their goals.

Andy holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from The Ohio State University and a Masters in Business Administration from Otterbein University.

An Ohio native, Andy has lived in Colorado since 2011 with his wife Stacy and their two children, Wiley and Lia. Andy is an avid sports fan, enjoys coaching youth sports, and the whole family looks forward to skiing every winter.

Sondra Lazzarini

Sondra comes to Bernard Wealth Management with over 25 years of experience in the financial industry as a senior registered client associate. As part of our client service team, she strives to provide excellent client service, helping to build long lasting relationships between clients and the firm. Sondra also brings her expertise to assuring our daily operations and compliance run smoothly and seamlessly for our clients.

Sondra holds an Associate’s degree of Applied Science in Marketing and Management from Macomb Community College.  She has also earned her Series 7, 63 and 65 registrations, as well as her Life Insurance and Annuity licenses. She is excited to continue expanding her comprehensive knowledge of the financial industry while developing close relationships with our clients and team.  Outside of BWM, she enjoys spending time with her family, walking her dog Milo, reading, biking, swimming, yoga and traveling.

Josh comes to Bernard Wealth Management with experience in financial services and investment research. As part of the client service team, he strives to provide excellent client service, helping to build long lasting relationships between clients and the firm. Josh also brings his expertise to our investment management and business development efforts.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Saginaw Valley State University, where he played baseball. Outside of BWM, he enjoys spending time with his family, attending Detroit Tigers games, and golfing. Although he did not meet his dreams of becoming a professional baseball player, Josh considers helping others achieve their financial goals a home run any day.
